My camera is being repaired so was shooting yesterday with a borrowed Fujifilm X100. People familiar with my work may note that I like to photograph ordinary things or scenes in an unusual way. So I was pretty excited when I saw a large fireworks going off (I had forgotten they were on) on the waterfront when I was about a kilometre away in a very well-known mall/boulevard, Cuba Street, here in Wellington, New Zealand.
