I'm totally whoring these out. I love them. It was so hazy though, took a lot of pp'ing. If I knew what I was doing they'd probably look even better.

Nice. It must have been close - a display run.

I heard the destination was a science museum. Is that the place just near USC and the Colloseum? I will have to find an excuse to get the boss to send me to visit USC for something.

Really nice captures. How are they going to move it into place - close down some streets? You'll have to be there for that too and then show us all what we have missed.

150mm? 500mm? It is a zoom. There is a great difference between 150mm and 500mm. I'd like to know so that I can compare it to my results.

I handheld a 200mm and the shuttle was very small in the frame. The OP has a beautiful, detailed image. That is why I would like to know the fl used.

Wow! Fabulous pictures! NASA did well and accomplished a tremendous amount with the shuttle program and filled volumes of data for mankind to benefit from! Science and technology at it's finest! American dedication in action!

So now what? Community Action? Perfect use of this resource.............

Hey there - Certainly there is a great difference between 150 mm and 500mm, but since said Sigma 150-500, I assume a zoom lens. ,It's just a guess admittedly, but perhaps this one:

Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM APO Autofocus Lens 73A109 B&H
