Natural Bridge or Arch
Photo Location: Bryce Canyon, UTAH
Posted By: Bob Harris, 09-22-2012, 02:40 PM

Though the name tends to be misleading, Natural Bridge is the name the park gave it, it is one of several natural arches in Bryce Canyon and creates a beautiful scene and a stark contrast to the dark green of the Ponderosa forest that peeks through the arch from the canyon below.

The colors in this area are amazing Tess, I tried to show more than the arch, I wanted to show some of the erosion and if you look you can see some hoodoos also. Thanks for taking a look and the kind words. Bob

Bob, you always find the best spot to compose your shots. Did you have to climb up there. I especially like the dark background though the arch that makes it stand out and show off the colors.

This one's a beauty, Bob. I always find natural bridges fascinating, and this is the best shot of one that I can remember. Nice job, old buddy.

Tom, this is a dream, you just get out of the car, go to an overlook and there it is waiting for you. Those are full grown pines down in the canyon that you see. Thanks for the kind words, I wish all these photos were this easy to take.
