Bowling Pins R.I.P.
Lens: 18-55mm WR Camera: Pentax K5 Photo Location: Glen Innes ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F5.6

I went for a walk around the local Rifle Club and discovered these old decaying bowling pins, piled together eroding away.I thought they had a bit character and would make an interesting subject. The adjusting and effects were done in Corel Pro X5.

I almost didn't click on this thread. Glad I did. Love it and the PP is really fantastic and suits the subject to a "T".

I love this shot, it is very artsy and dramatic, and the post-processing and border suits it perfectly. I guess they were using them for target practice.

My guess about them being targets would be yes, because they did have a lot of large holes in them and being well weighted they would stand up in the wind without falling over. But again thankyou guys for all the comments. It's great to get feedback on a unusual subject like this.
