This is the Watchman, that sits above the Zion valley at an elevation of over 5000' and a very popular ridge to photograph.

An imposing landscape. The B/W does it justice, well done

Nice choice on the PP Bob. Can't wait to see your shots from Valley of Fire - another place we have never been.

That is the way I shot the photo with IR selected on camera. I don't think they have wifi or internet down that way, we will see in about 5 hours or more.

Lots of drama here. A fitting choice to use B&W here although perhaps toning it down a little bit in the sky wouldn't hurt.

Edit: I didn't know this was a in camera effect...

It is like the rock coming over me. Dramatic photo.

Another drama may be in CASINO.

It's so 3D with the mountain range sticking right out of the images with that dark sky.I would have to say that this would have to be one of my favourite Bob Harris images.I could see this one on a large canvas on the wall.Keep them coming Bob!!

This one has real impact, Bob. You and the Capn are showing me things I've never tried with my K-5; maybe I should read the manual to see what it'll do.

thanks Remco, I appreciate you taking a look. I will post some other IR photos later that I took out of Zion, turned out interesting, especially since they were right out of the camera with no other editing.
