Wonderful sky and mountains there, not as gloomy as here though, just had two full days of rain.

A real feeling of isolation.
Quite a dramatic shot and like something out of Jurassic Park.

I love this landscape! It is full of power and movement, the patterns and textures in the foreground juxtapose nicely with the mountains and clouds. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing

That shot would be a fine summers day here in the Highlands.

A great shot, countryside seems very similar to here.

Thanks all for the nice comments on this landscape. And yes kerrodown, lots of areas look like Scotland. My wife and I lived in Scotland for 2 years and we both noticed the similarities. Parts of Iceland look like the Cairngorms or like the far northwest. Not too many trees.
