Birds and a Butterfly
Lens: DA* 300 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Huntington Beach SP

Three more from our last trip. Lots of fishing going on by the bird in the salt marshes. The last one I managed to catch as the bird tossed it to get it turned head first so he could swallow it. The first is cropped quite a bit but I loved the fish eye and the bird's eye in alignment.

Thanks Fries. It makes me smile every time I see it especially since the bird never did eat the poor fish. He played with it for quite a while then just dropped it.

Good images Susan, love the first one. The bird never swallod it? most have had a bad taste to it.

Thanks Tess. I found the butterfly at the garbage collection place at the campground.

Different bird Heinrich. This one did eat the fish. Took him a long time to get it placed just right so he could swallow it though.
