..... for portraits, that is!

I think Dave will agree.

I'm just in a silly mood verging on depression as almost every picture I took this weekend did not turn out. I forgot my damn tripod so I have lots of unfocused blurry pics. It was Mom's 80th birthday nothing too important.

Sadly, the self portrait did! I was inspired by Dave's post about his birthday gift. I like this lens for many reasons but certainly not for portraits!

Feel free to post any of your own fisheye lens portraits - self or others.

I found the Pentax DA 10-17mm lens to be very interesting. I did not notice how small our planet was until I stepped back a snapped a picture of my friend and his boat on a lake. It really is a small world after all. As far as a portrait lens.... Dave that is how I always imagined you to look - just kidding, it would probably break if i tried that shot on my mug.

The camera stores from all over the world have reported an unexplained record sale of Pentax DA 10-17 . Most sales were done with hairy nose men !

Dang Dave... you are just too fricken Hilarious.... Love the scuba picture.. esspecially the second one..

Spyglass I also thougth your picture was pretty neat... the fisheye gave a differet perspective on the water...
