Pentax Fisheye Worst Lens EVER!
Posted By: J.Scott, 02-04-2008, 04:34 AM

..... for portraits, that is!

I think Dave will agree.

I'm just in a silly mood verging on depression as almost every picture I took this weekend did not turn out. I forgot my damn tripod so I have lots of unfocused blurry pics. It was Mom's 80th birthday nothing too important.

Sadly, the self portrait did! I was inspired by Dave's post about his birthday gift. I like this lens for many reasons but certainly not for portraits!

Feel free to post any of your own fisheye lens portraits - self or others.

It is a fun lens and I like its dramatic effect.

God, you almost gave me a fright til the image is loaded up.

I'll bet you did need a smile Pat. Hard to watch that offense (or lack there of) and front line protection last night. (not to hijack the thread with football)

Wow go away for a weekend and the amount of posts are incredible ! I think this thread should have a warning and disclaimer that it may scare small children. Awesome portrait Jeff ! Between our noses we could measure first downs at a football game Come one come all with he fisheye - the bar has been set hahah.

Very interesting shots, even hilarious. We should start a thread, The weirdest, funniest or most frightening self portraits perhaps these two shots have a head start. (pun intended)

detour: Pat, at the end of the game I thought of one very disappointed person for sure.
Must say that Giants defence was very effective on closing your boys down.

Hey! Don't make fun of those of us with great big noses!
Great perspective shots...

I am kind of surprised that no paparazzi use those to make their flattering photos!

Thanks for a good laugh! And I thought my Sigma 15mm was "odd" on the portraits...

Regards,
