Bear Mountain Fall Colours
Lens: Tamron 90 2.8 macro Camera: K5 Photo Location: Madawaska, Ontario
Posted By: tessfully, 09-29-2012, 07:04 AM

We have been going out every day to photograph the fall colours, which are extraordinary this year. Here are some images from our hike up Bear Mountain. The first few were from the morning, and the last few mid afternoon. Time of day made a lot of difference to the colours and overall hue.

Gorgeous, as usual, tess. The second and third ones are especially nice to my old eyes.

These are amazing, Tess! I sure hope we get colors even half that nice. It's been dry a lot, though, and I fear it might not be such a great season. But it's so great to have photos from you to show us what fall is supposed to look like!! I really love the close up, back lit shot. It is my favorite - I'm a sucker for those!! Please keep the fall color photos coming!!

Beautiful colors Tess. I'm a sucker for shots like the third one. You sure can make a wonderful image from something I would pass by.

Beautiful fall colors, the first two look like a painting, keep shooting these, don't get much fall color in the desert of Nevada

I wanted to pop in to say a HUGE thank you to everyone! Thank you thank you for so many wonderful comments We have had a full house of guests up enjoying the colours so I am very busy and missing my Pentax friends and your photos. We are off again today (in the rain by the looks of it) Colours have completely peeked and no way anyone could over-saturate in photos what our eyes are seeing. Just over the top wild and vibrant. The rain and clouds will probably turn them down a notch --- but very very rich with deep reds, golds and orange.

Thanks again!
