Some of my shots
Posted By: tomart, 09-30-2012, 08:28 AM

Just a few my photographs. I love B&W and always trying to convert all my color ones but only some of them looks good in B&W.
I hope you enjoy and comments are welcome.

Photographs was taken using Pentax K5, Pentax K7, Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM, Pentax SMC-DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 ED [IF] SDM

This photographs was taken in Windsor UK.

Often you can find me walking along the canal near Uxbridge West London UK.

This one was taken on the canal near Uxbridge UK when testing my new lens.

On the canal near Uxbridge UK, it was a lucky shot as the barge was going down the canal very quickly.

My son was board when I was trying to take some photos of him, this picture was taken by accident and come out very well.

Windsor UK - this was very wet day so I decide to test my Pentax K5 and 50-135mm lens famous waterproof sealing. Both works great and I`m more confident now to shoot in the rain.

This was a tough photo session, it take long time to set the best exposure and framing without seeing the screen or viewfinder - result - my fridge defrost, but I get my best shot anyway.

In this photograph I was planning to extend the exposure even longer but I didn`t have the tripod that day. I have to go back there again and try one more time as I like the idea. Taken in London Canary Wharf.

After a few damaged forks and knifes eventually I get my favorite frame.

Thank you for watching and soon I try to post some new photos.

Thank you Jaytee, I`m trying hard to learn much as possible about photography but sometimes I`m not fully satisfy when looking in to portfolios of some amazing photographers :-) but I hope I get there some day.

I can find nothing not to like in any of these images. Glad you went with B&W as it really was a wonderful choice. Great job and I too can't wait to see more.

I`m trying my best. Thank you Slowpez for your kind words. I`m shooting color as well so maybe next time some color instead :-).

They are all excellent. I particularly like the 'Poohs' peeking over the sill!

Delightful set of pictures. I keep looking at the canal shot - unique and unusual.

I'm hardly an expert, but I enjoyed every one of your photos. They all have something interesting going on & the B/W conversions are well done. Great job.
