Got a seat at the press preview of Amaluna, the new show of Cirque du Soleil in Toronto. It was a great opportunity to test the performance of the combination of my K5 and the Sigmas in low light.

Looks like your gear passed the test! Nice... does Cirque du Soleil allow photography during performances? We've been to quite a few of their productions but I never thought to bring a camera.

No, they don't, Jerry. It was a press preview for the media. And we had to shoot blind, with the camera LCD covered with black tape.

Well done Nick I have seen a few Cirque shows they are always entertaining.

BTW, your are in Alberta, right Dave? What city is it? I love the sculptures in Calgary airport.

Sherwood Park - just outside Edmonton - Calgary is a dirty word here - I don't get to Calgary too often but I try and get to the mountains about an hour outside Calgary as often as I can
