More from Iceland

Working on day nine. Here are a few that I liked. We had 2.5 days over over cast and onis was ne of those days. Really made the colors pop. Cheers JIM

No matter the shape of ones home the Churches always looked great. All were run by the Government.

Lovely shots! Especially like the split falls picture, looks almost like the landscape was too perfect. Keep up the good work!

Another set of winners - did not realize Iceland had so many churches and state run do you know what denomination these churches are ?

I don't know about too perfect but some do look like someomne craved them out with tools. JIM

Not sure on that one Dave. Forgot to ask/ I have a few books on Iceland. Let me look and I will let you know. JIM

Great shots.... I recognize Gullfoss (I have the same shot), but where is the Split Falls and the lake?

What Tess said. Not a bad shot in the lot. I am rather partial to the first shot of the church and home. I like the feel of it, the isolation.

THank you Susn. We thought it had to be tough to live here as there is little to do but work. We would see one farm and them it may be 10 miles before the next. All were backed to a mountain and a waterfall. The waterfall was used for both water and electricity and in so,me cases still being used troday. The interesting thing was we had cell zoine just about everywhere on te island and the internet was fast! JIM
