i took a picture of whats behind my monitor, then put that as my desktop background.....

yes i know i am silly.

Have seen this before ... there's some great effects with this.
I think it was on Flickr in a massive group ... under "transparent desktops"

Damnit, you stole my business idea!

(I thought I'll bring out a little Mac/PC program sending the input of two web cams of two monitors sitting back to back to the respective other desktop background; this way both monitors would become transparent for people sitting face to face in an office (as is frequent here in Europe); would look like in Gooshin's photo...)

i dont know, i just felt that my blank gray background was boring after i finaly cleanned up my desktop... and my camera was right there next to me.
