Wonderful atmospheric shot Joni. The shafts of light on the conifer are perfect. Makes me wonder who might lurk in the woods.

Very nice, and conveys the feeling and mood as others have said. In addition to the light streaming in through the fog, I also like the back-lit sort of "rim lighting" on a number of the small trees and foliage on the forest floor.
The arrangement of the light coming from the right rear side of the scene tends to pull the eye through it from left to right in much the same way that winding trail might do, for example.
Reminded me of that line from Dante something like, "In the midst of my life's journey, I awoke in a dark wood where the true path had been fully lost."
