That's a nice sharp lens. I think I would have preferred this picture with it stopped down more, like f/11 or f/16.

Interesting... did you use the in-camera miniaturization option (never tried it myself), or something like Topaz Focus?

This is a different take on a landscape. Often you will see focus at the hyperfocal distance used to try to bring as much as possible into acceptably sharp focus in order to create more of the 3D effect.
Here you have pretty much the opposite which creates a somewhat unique effect and one I find interesting.

The blurred foreground bothers me a bit and draws my eye away from the field. I like the shot though I would be tempted to crop out some of that foreground blur. Just my 2 cents and not worth much.
