Another Ohioan signing in. Love this image which I'm interpreting t be in the setting sun. I like the cattle under the tree, the shadow across the road and the patch of light down the road; as if we were driving by this beautiful scene.
I'm from the northwest area of Ohio around Toledo

A lovely pastoral, wistful with a hint of the approaching winter -- the trees mostly bare, feed corn ready for harvest. A grand old tree; the cows give a sense of scale.

Another erstwhile NW Ohioan weighing in, Allen County no less.

Thanks John, actually 8:48AM, we're about an hour and a half south of Toledo.

What an amazing shot of an amazing tree! I love the whole scene and the colours are gorgeous. The tree makes everything else seem so small. Wonderful!

Thanks Tess, I actually use that road sometimes just to drive by that tree.

Thanks Heinrich, actually it was pretty calm that morning, but that tree stands in the open where it probably gets a lot of wind, and has just grown that way, it's pretty unusual that way.
