The dogwood is flowering

I saw a webcast by a well known photographer that said you should never have photos of flowers in a portfolio. I just like taking photos of flowers though, even on a crappy overcast day in my own back yard I can enjoy taking a few shots. This is the first time our new dogwood has flowered, so my wife is excited, she loves the tree and loves this photo too.

Nice capture of a beautiful pink dogwood. Your wife is right to like both the tree and the photo.
