Argh, what a creepy spider! Kind of fascinating, but still scary. Great shot, really got the focus right to show off all those details.

That is one scary looking critter with all those spines sticking out. Wonderful detail in the image.

Wow, super macro. I have never seen a spider with thorns; very cool!

Very nice macro of the green lynx spider. They are very common here.

What a cool shot! Demonstrating again how weird and wonderful nature can be. What the heck are all those spikes for on the spider's legs?

That has to be one of the coolest-looking spiders I've ever seen! I think with my 35mm macro I'd have to get entirely too close to get that kind of shot...

I am not exactly sure the use of the spikes but they sure are intimidating especially to the smaller insects.

This is a male yellow lynx spider, from what I have found from this The Find-a-spider Guide - Lynx spider

I dont think you can use the 35mm macro for this. I used to use my 50mm macro, and had to go real close to my subjects. I dread to think how close 35mm would turn out if I were to use it.

Thanks for all the comments!

Nice shot, I like it especially showing it's breakfast. I did capture a very similar looking spider minus prey in Thailand early this year. Nice that someone can identify it.
