Gorgeous, thanks for posting!
Hopefully I will have the opportinity to see this phenomena too, as we (me and the misses) just booked a holyday to Finnish Lapland for early Februari

May I ask what shuttertime did you use? Something between 10-20sec wpuld be best, I guess?

Thanks y`all! TenZ.NL I used 1.3sec at this picture! And slow shutter speed is not always necessary, some of the finest auroral images is taken with fast shutter speeds that makes the aurora more detailed! Ehem ... You should come to Norway, northern Norway with Troms and Finnmark is absolutely stunning in dark time to take pictures of the aurora borealis!

Actually, I`ve been to western Norway and I absolutely fell in love with your country. Lofoten is on my list but I`m allways open for good suggestions
Thanks for the tip and mentioning the shuttertime.

Nice shot. And truly a beautiful part of the world. I can now relate to this as we did the coastal cruise from Kirkenes to Bergen in March this year, and lots of Aurora sightings. A first for me. Only problem was that we had little time on hard ground to photograph, but I now have a few good ones myself.
