Autumn in Virginia
Lens: DA 18-135 WR Camera: Pentax K-30 Photo Location: Virginia
Posted By: loco, 10-29-2012, 09:21 AM

Here are a few fall photos I'd like to post before we lose power here in the face of Hurricane Sandy. Best wishes to all in the storm's path. I hope we all get through without major damage.

All of these were taken with the K-30 and DA 18-135 WR, which I really love. Thanks for looking! Stay safe!

Great colours, lovely area. I recently picked up the K-30 and am enjoying it. Looks like the DA 18-135 WR is going on my wish list.

Regards

What beautiful colors Lori, so glad you shared these with us. I'm in the desert now, the only color I see is dirt brown. I hope that storm blows out east into the ocean, no matter what though, they say there will be lots of rain. Batten down the hatches and keep your head down low.

Thank you, I love the K-30 and heartily recommend the 18-135. It's been on my camera the most since I got it.

Very very nice! Especially #3, 4, and 5. Those are calendar shots. The last one is almost as good but to me the blue of the water is a little too strong and I would desaturate it a little bit.

Good luck to you folks out there on the east coast!

Great series Lori - really nice to see the vivid fall colors especially now the time has past this year.

Hope you stayed safe during Sandy - we got lucky (so far) here - only lost power for 10 minutes last night, but it is still churning around right above us.

Thanks, Jerry! Appreciate that! All is well here in my neck of the woods, fortunately. Still a bit of wind, so the power could still go, but no major property damage.
