K10d, A*300/2.8 and a duck

Shot today; I am happy the duck was not shy at all

Did quite some cropping, of the picture.

A*300mm/2.8 @ F/4.5
1/1000sec.
ISO 200
SR 300mm

That is what A* 300mm f2.8 is capable of. So sharp with amazing details. f4.5 is a must though since it is hard to get focus with 2.8

The outside image inspires... a neighbour asked if she could have this duck image.

She's a painter, always looking for new inspiration. At first, she would not believe I shot this (no tripod!!? ) ; she asked where in Microsoft's installation one could find the users settings.
