Coolest pic all day. I would kill for the opportunity at a shot like that. Struggled with a full moon last night and how cool is that in comparison...........
Love it. Extremely good job // Nick

I thought you guy's had more then your share last winter of this great nordic treat, but it's back! Nice with the lights on the other side of the fjord. I've been visiting Finnmark each summer for years and alway's in the summer so it's really nice to see your beautiful 'fylke' in its winter dress!

Thank you everyone!
Must say that I have lived for some years in the southern part of Norway, where there is little aurora, so now that I've moved back home, it is sure to be more such pictures!

How far north in Scandinavia do you have to go to consistently see aurora borealis?

Great shot btw!

Thank you! In Norway it is probably best conditions in Lofoten, Troms and Finnmark!
Elsewhere in Scandinavia, as far north as you can get!

Cool picture. We get auroras where I live, but they are usually much lower on the horizon and I can't play with the composition of my pictures like I want. And the last time we had an interesting display, it that was all over the place, which was interesting in itself.
