Completely. Utterly. Astounded. My wife surprised me with a birthday cake I had no idea was coming and had to share it with the Pentaxian community. She made the base and had a pro create the top layer. Made my day. This quick shot by the iPhone cam, please excuse the IQ...

Happy birthday Ash! You should ask for a k-5 with a grip and 60-250 lens on it on the cake! It's simply bigger!

Haha. There was plenty of cake as it was to ask for that!
Though I would have preferred the K-5 coupled with one of the FA Limiteds rather than the kit lens...

Thanks. And yep, every angle of the cake had a level of detail that had even myself greatly impressed. I felt bad having the cake cut. But the red velvet cake did taste good.

Rambling around looking for some Doggie shots I missed?....and saw this. What a perfect and fantastic gift for your birthday! You must be a very popular guy with your wife, that is wonderful!
I think I might have frozen it to pull out every year and admire.......but I know me....it would be gone in no time. Just like the Cherry Pie I get every year from my Mom on my Birthday. It's not fancy and it's not a work of art, but it is superbly delicious...and hand made by my Mom! Just a few days and I will get another one! Too bad we are so far apart, we could share a little, I'd love that!
