Apres le Deluge

Taken the morning after Sandy left. Not a great photograph but it has some redeeming qualities, I think.



Aside from a 36hr power outage, the impact here was very mild compared to the catastrophe up North.

Thanks folks! I know what you mean, Charlie but there's just clutter to either side. I've tried various perspectives and focal lengths with that vista and this really seems like the "sweet spot." I think a more horizontal crop (2:3 or 5:7) might "feel" better but didn't want to lose the any more of the mist or the tree.
