Very nice. Just right DOF for a 3D effect and soft BG.

Yes! Excellent photography as usual! I really liked #10 of 39! Well, liked them all but that one was special IMO!

thanks for those comments and for checking out the album, those were some tiny little orchids poking out through a fence, we were on holidays in Northern Queensland (tropical) and I was walking back to where we we staying after taking some shots in local parklands, reviewing my shots as I walked and had to brush these out the way to walk past, I went a few steps past these before realizing what they were and going back to get that shot. I'm glad you like it as it's one of my all time favorites, cheers.

thank you Heinrich, well we do now! a friend gave me a couple of pots a while back, both of which have flowered, since showing an interest other friends & acquaintances have given us more pots, some in need of some TLC, one of these has flowered as well, we split them up and re potted and now have about 10 pots most of which we haven't seen flower, so next year it should be interesting. Going to have to build some sort of greenhouse to get them through Melbourne's winters.
cheers
