Some Flowers, a fish, and a Star [7imgs]

Another boring day.

shot w/ various lenses


comments/critiques always welcome



540FGZ fired from above halfway into exposure.
Stats:Sigma 28 EX DG f/8 1 Sec. ISO 200





Fisheye 10-17. 540FGZ angled. Nice effect. 540 cant completely cover the fish @ 10mm
Stats: 1/60, F/4, ISO 200 @ 10mm



a bit further back, the 540 was able to get it all this time.
Stats: 1/20, F/4, ISO 200 @ 10mm



DA*50-135 from a bit back w/ the 540. gotta love this lens
Stats: 1/60, F/4, ISO 200 @ 80mm




DA*50-135 closer up. again w/ the 540
Stats: 1/45, f/8, 75mm, ISO 200 @ 75mm



DA*50-135 fun!
Stats: 1/60, f/8, ISO 200 @ 75mm



Sigma 28 EX DG, nice and tight
Stats: 1/45, f/8, ISO 200 @ 28mm




all shot w/ a K10D, 540FGZ, all hand held xcept for the first one.
set can be seen on Flikr (link in sig). There will be more added as I process the rest
it's gone through LR and PS. some minor adjustments done in PS.

What a riot of colour! Good viewing. My favourites are the last two, but I also really like the second one, I think the incomplete flash coverage worked out very well.

The colours and clarity of these are excellent. Beautiful shots.

thanks! I personally like the last one myself along with number 3. the incomplete one was a let down when i first saw it on the lcd, but after a bit of pping, it turned out better than expected

Yes!, the colours are what really prompted me to break out the gear (as well as plain ol' boredom) I was sitting there and drinking coffee and staring at the flowers, playing out the shots in my head, and...for the most part some of it came out as I imagined it.
