Here are some more from my trip to the 'Gardens and Glass' exhibit at the Phipps Conservatory yesterday.

This set focusses a little more on the 'Gardens':

All of these were taken with my 'new' F-35-70 lens and most of the flowers were taken w/ the 70mm 'macro' feature on the lens. (not really a macro lens, but the close focus switch allows for pretty good flowers)

The first 2 have a lovely 'warm' feel to them.

great shots.

we were at the Phipps last summer for the blown glass show. nice place to visit on a cold day as well.

i used to set up on the hill behind Carnegie-Mellon and look over the conservatory while i ate lunch as a student there back in the seventies...

Nice shots, the first three are a bit dark for my taste, but that's ok. Love the orchids! I'm looking forward to the "glass" side.

NaCl(conservatories are great places to shoot this time of year in the North East)H2O
