In the right light

This shot was taken in an abandoned asylum. The light beams are not photo shopped but just the result of some smoke from a plumbers smoke pellet, sunlight & a long exposure (I really like the laser beam effect so thought I'd post it).

What a cool and interesting image. The light from the hole in the ceiling is amazing, but the laser beams a bit confusing... what is a plumbers smoke pellet? But, a great shot and you made the abandoned asylum look heavy with history.

Just something which plumbers use to create a little smoke to test the draw from a boiler’s flue (sorry not sure if these terms translate to USA), but synthetic Smoke from an aerosol can would create the same effect. Thanks for the reply :-)

Very cool. the image makes me think of an H.G. Wells book, The War of the Worlds.

Hope you've had a large print made of this and got up on the wall, it deserves the space.

Very nice effect, the shafts of light do look like laser beams. Stunning.
