Magical World of Funghi
Lens: 50mm Macro Camera: D7000 Photo Location: Forest ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8

I went out shooting some Funghi recently and so exited about the results i decided to post them here. I hope you do enjoy them and comments are very welcome!

I think the last shot is best of all with good focus, DOF and lighting.

some very fine captures here .... those umbrella-like 'shrooms are fantastic... looks like something from munchkinland... dave m

I like them all especially as there is so much variety inthe fungi world.

1. Fluorescent colours are they natural?
2. Intriguing shapes in this one.
3 Is that spores between the two mushrooms?
4 Simply the best of the bunch

That is the worst case of lens fungus I have seen ;-))

My knees hurt just thinking about crawling around on the ground to get shots like these. Love that last one.the best but they all are intriguing. Hope to see more.

Nr1: Indeed the natural colors. I tryed to keep them as real as possible. Just some extra contrast and saturation here and there. Shooting with a remote flash really made the light, colors and contrast reallly intresting on the subjects.

Nr2: I believe so..

Thanks and yes it wasnt easy at all...I'm just 27 though and still very active physically so still fine ! I do plan to post some others very soon!

Funny thing is that my dslr did have some extra funghi after the shoot
