better days gone by ...

Living in Buffalo, NY, we have a rich history of Industry & Architecture. Unfortunately, too much of it is in poor condition.

These are a few pics of the Buffalo Central Railroad Terminal, which was saved and is being restored by a local group. Their efforts to date are remarkable considering how badly this building had deteriorated.

It was also one of the first times I gave my newly acquired DA21 lens a workout. I just love this lens. Also experimenting with HDR for fun.

Great-looking shots - nice work! Good to see they're making an effort to restore it - I'd love to wander around in there for a couple hours

The art deco railway stations have a beauty that most modern transportation terminals lack and it's great to see that an effort is being made to preserve this part of Buffalo's history. Thanks for sharing.
