Big Bend National Park, Texas.



K10D, Mamiya 55mm lens, f5.6, 35min exposure, ISO 800. ...should've used slower ISO.

I think nearly every shot I've seen of star trails aims the camera north or south, but I like the east (or west) alignment you've chosen here for the striated effect instead of concentric circles.

Eerie landscape! Yeah I guess lower ISO and adjusted exposure might've worked differently, but that's a good shot.
