Lens: Ultra MC Auto 28mm f/2.8 reversed on extension tubes Camera: Pentax k-r Photo Location: Mission, B.C.

Well, my wife officially thinks I'm crazy. I got home a little early from work today, so I went out on the balcony to see if my arachnid model was still around from yesterday. Sure enough, he was sitting right there on the tomato plant pretty much where I left him. I just recently bought a reverse ring for my new 28mm, but I was really eager to try it out reversed. So I grabbed a roll of technical tape and taped it to my extension tubes. The working distance with this setup actually isn't bad, much better than with the lens on the right way

Peek a Boo!

And a crop of his eyes.

Thanks for looking!

What a patient little subject!
Nice - I particularly like the second and the cropped one.
Thanks for sharing.

I like the cropped one of its eyes the best. Nice of him to stick around for you to practice. Very considerate of him.

Very nice....but sad for me. Reminds me of my little "desk buddy" that lived with me for months...until he was killed in a window opening accident. He loved to roam my keyboard and occasionally would venture up my arm for a while. He was tiny, but he could jump! R.I.P. little buddy!

Regards!
