Been a busy fall. I lend a hand with the high school yearbook and take shots of the various athletic events during the year.

Put my old Pentax K 200/2.5 to work here. Love the challenge of manual focus. These were a lot easier than the birds I normally shoot.

Too bad I cut off the ball at the top of the shot.

Wrestling lets you get pretty close to the action. I used the DA* 16~50/2.8 for the next series.

Nice photos! Manual focus! You did well! Great shots of the quarter back!

I retired after teaching Mathematics for twenty years! My "extra curricular" activity was the year book for several years! It's a work out to do it properly. My last 10 years teaching was at a community college......I didn't miss the year book duties! Nice you still enjoy doing the work!

Thanks WillH,

Actually, all I do for the yearbook is take pictures. Another teacher does the heavy lifting.

Great shots Tom. Anticipating where the action will occur is half the battle.

Thanks for looking Scott.

I played the game for a number of years and that helps a lot too.

Thanks Charlie,

Got the focus right but seem to have messed up the white balance on the first two.
