I think you did a good job catching that difficult back-lighting correctly.

I like this one very much - it's unusual, has a great composition and is technically excellent. Hard to beat all that.

Love the blue glass and clay bowls. Nice collection and very nicely shot!

I am with Susan - it's a great shot , but reminds me of Steve Martin as the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors ha!

Susan, people often talk about the "good old days". Looking at this equipment I am not so sure. Thanks.

The blue glass is what attracted my attention, took me a few shots to get it right with the strong backlight. This is the advantage photographing objects that don't move with DSLRs. The Clay pots are actually porcelain (unglazed) "Mortar and Pestle" to crunch up ingredients for those portions of old. Still used today though, I have one in the kitchen to grind and mix up spices.
