Topaz had a sale over Black Friday, so I grabbed a couple filters that caught my eye and I've been (slowly) trying to figure out how to use them. The Detail one is pretty straight forward, but the 'Simplify' one kind through me for a loop.

Here is some stuff I ran through that one trying to get a grip on it. I think once I get more comfortable, I should be able to use it in layers for some really decent effects. I've already realized its great for images I bombed the exposure or wound up slightly out of focus with.

That last one was shot in the IR filter mode on my K-x two summers ago. Nice black skies and screaming clouds - and lots and lots of noise. Its my favorite of the three as well.
