Pelican and Sanderlings

Couple of more birds from the Gulf. I rather like the high key look to the Sanderlings. Both photos have lost some sharpness after the upload though.

Good captures though Susan. Perhaps you should use something besides PF to introduce your photos to us.This is why I quit using the forum for my photos and started using flickr. Flickr doesn't detract from sharpness in my photos.

Love the second photo!
If you could frame the birds more to the right ... I think will look even better

Thanks Mar. Too lazy I guess although I do have a flickr account. Easier just to upload from computer.

Thanks for the suggestion mrNewt. It is a brilliant idea one I didn't think of. I'm going to go do it now before I forget. Really do appreciate the suggestion.

Lovely Shots Susan. The Pelican has such a strong sharp presence, while the sanderlings are unassuming, sweet and special. Thanks for Sharing

The Sanderlings shot is fantastic! The high key effect along with the subtle blurred background all come together - great work!
