From a 1950's compact camera without focus control or light meter.... And with long expired (2005) Fuji Velvia 100...

Excellent resolution. Those old cameras do not limit a talented photographer.

Altix

Hi Rense,
I am so happy and I thank you also for the photos that you share with us! Why?
Camera "Altix," was my first. With it, I made my first photographic steps. Optics was fantastic, especially for the photos in low light. I'm making use of it until 1969. Since then I folded the Pentax 6x7.

Rense, just that it was and charm to CAMERA! The photographer had to use the light without, in relation to a specific situation, determine the distance, aperture and exposition! Bring the long term practice success! At the end of 60-ies, appeared electron YASHICA MAT-124th With regard to the "new" technology, was "nothing compared to the" camera Altix! Personally, I was celebrating, there was no need to use the flash in the candlelight, the sensitivity of ISO 100.
greeting
