114 Steps

from our travels Yakina Head Lighthouse, near Newport Oregon. A lot easier to come down than go up.

Nice shots Bob. Made me dizzy though. I'm not a height person, over two feet and I get disoriented and dizzy.

I do! Have pictures of the Astoria Column, that is! They are on film and where shot in 1969 while on our honeymoon! it's been a while! No way my sorry butt could make that climb today!

Great shots Bob! Love the composition on all of them, especially the third. What lens were you using? The staircase is my favourite... really good depth of field and nicely framed. Thank you for sharing!

Mar, I'm not a height person anymore either, I found it hurts my legs and caused me to be out of breath. I will take a lot of "looking up" photos from now on.

i didn't go up in the column Will, that is one big challenge I don't want to tackle

What fun! The view from the top is always the best - especially if you have to work a bit to get there.
