Parliament Hill at dusk

During our holiday in June 2011 I took this shot of Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We were in our hotel room in Gatineau, Quebec (yes a different province) and the buildings were about 1.2km away across the river. The light was fantastic... just a darker background with a warm glow emanating from the buildings.

My processing style seems to lean toward a bit of a harder image, but it's the way I like it. Now if only I could have gotten rid of the modern buildings in the background...

Great old building. I don't mind my tax dollars being spent on stuff like this. Saidly, it is dwarfed by the more modern structures around it.
