Young Snowy Owl "Google" from "World of Wings"
Lens: da* 50-135 f2.8 Camera: k5 Photo Location: On location Studio ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F5.8

Had a great day at World Of Wings today.. I had the opportunity to set up a studio there to shoot some of there wonderful birds,The staff there where great and very helpful, they even jumped in for a few shots too.

Still going through the images but happy so far and wanted to share one of them.






*lighting*

A softlighter type brolly (silver with white diffusion panel like a softbox) at the front up high.
Two Gridded soft box's either side.

That's a cracking image.

If it were mine I must admit I would "shop" out the two gridded soft box catch-lights in the iris, leaving just the ones in pupil.

But hey that's just me.

I quite like the fact that the highlights in the eye's sort of match the darker ring of feathers either side of the head
