"my little chickadee"
Lens: Pentax 100mm wr Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F8

I had to raise the feeder and hang it from the house. The deer were emptying it overnight. Now it's in the spot where my h-bird feeder is in the summer months.I'm able to shot from 10ft away with the window open.--charliezap

Nicely done.
I've had squirrel problems, but never deer problems. Probably too much forage available hereabouts.
Thanks for sharing.

That's a beautiful shot there Charlie, great colors and clarity. We still have 4 or 5 hummingbirds that come to visit each day here in Pahrump NV

If I wasn't too lazy I would get up at 4AM and catch the deer in the act.-charliezap

Nice picture! The blue tint/reflection gives it a interesting feel!

Lazy? Naw you're not lazy. Setting up a remote camera is lazy. No sitting in a hide freezing my butt off! Those days are gone for ever!
Taken with a remote camera setup by a very lazy individual

...one of the better Chickadee shots I have seen. You can actually see his eye, which as you know is not always an easy capture on little Chickadees. They are also jittery and you have to snap fast, I've been a second too lat on a million of them. You did good!

Regards!

Nice shot Charlie, we don't get them in our backyard but they are in the area. You'll love Bigma, but start exercising, it's on the heavy side.
