Hi,

Just got back from a quick trip to Salisbury. Absolutely stunning town, lots of history and very old buildings. Unfortunately I didnt have much time there so havnt got many pictures. I also didnt have my tripod and so this is the only shot that came out halfway decent.

Its seems that every time I go to take pictures of grand old buildings there is always scaffolding around them Had a nice time walking around the town at night though



I will definately be going back there armed with a tripod and more time. Bristol and Bath are in the same part of the country so may have to make a weekend of it.

Nice shot, good exposure Tom. As you say very inconsiderate of them not removing the scaffolding in time for your visit.

I will have to announce myself the next time, maybe phone my old pal the mayor

lol, anyway thanks Paul. Was very frustrating trying to get a sharpish picture handheld with a 1 sec exposure (i think this 1 was 0.7 though).


It doesnt surprise me Mark. My last time in London they had scaffolding around St.Pauls, if I decided to go and take a picture of disneyland there would probably be scaffolding on it (not that I would want to).

I too have scaffolding issues ..... noteably with York Minster .....
