This is a nice shot but I really like it when there is more detail in infared shots like maybe a close up of some of the trees at the waters edge

Looks like an alien landscape picture from a deep space expedition I like the shot!

Is this lake Irvine? I think I fished that spot on the right

It does have an alien landscape feel to it. Very interesting..

Nice composition. Results in an interesting landscape. Haven't tried any infrared yet. Must have a go sometime.

Thanks . There was not much for a photo op so I decided to play with infrared .

Nah ! Lake Sonoma in Northern Califonia :-)

Thanks . Infrared does give the image a different look . Nice option for sunny mid day shoot .

You should give it a try . I use Hoya R72 . Tripod and remote control .

Funny that is my next project . Will do some hiking in local parks this week . I avoided the popular parks because the long exposure of IR and amount of people moving during the weekends .
