darker days - darker pictures
Camera: k10d Photo Location: netherlands ISO: 100

I usually don't like black or blackish backgrounds in my macro pictures but I have a few in which it seems to add to the image.
After a couple days of raining and no apparent sunshine I guess now is the time to show them, C & C is welcome...

1: panagor 90mm macro lens > picture taken in 2008





2: macro takumar 50mm preset > picture taken last summer

That last one is a beaut for sure. Nice shot.

Both are quite intriguing. The first has such a presence to it... the eyes in the dark. The second is gorgeous. Margriet, you are right that the dark background gives these shots a special added something... moodiness for sure. Thanks for sharing ... enjoyed very much
