Woodpecker with the Bigma
Lens: Sigma 50-500 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma. ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F9.5

Spent 15 minutes outback and got one decent shot.I did use a tripod for this shot.That sucker does get heavy. Merry Christmas to all.--charliezap

I posted one here since I only had a chance to test it with the Q before the weather turned rainy.

I haven't really spent much time with it on the K-5, but my inital impressions are extremely positive.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to need a little time to get used to it.
The OS kind of freaked me out at first since I am not used to the image shifting around, but comparing it with the SR of the body the OS wins so I just have to remember to set all the switches.

Has got some reach. I expect if you keep using the tripod you won't get the weight training during your photography. Looking good.

I think that with the O/S a unipod may be in order to help out with the weight training.--charliezap
