It's an embedded anchor from the Marie Gabrielle, which ran aground near Warrnambool, Victoria in 1869

Very nice. Try rotating it 2-3 degrees clockwise, I think it would improve. Dangerous coast that was in those days.

Yes great photo, it just needs a slight amount of leveling.

Thanks, I've now straightened the image, it only needed 1.8 degrees but it makes a huge difference.
