Lightning strikes
Lens: S-M--C Takumar 50mm f1.4 Camera: K-5 IIs Photo Location: Hunter Valley ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F5.8

Spent christmas up at the Hunter Valley and it stormed on Christmas Eve.

Here are some captures I managed of a couple of strikes.. fascinating phenomenon really!

Aperture used is an estimate as I can't exactly recall what I had it set as.

Number 2 is ok. Try a 20-30 second exposure and smaller aperture, and you might be lucky enough to get a few strikes in the one shot. Btw, I'm from Singleton originally. Good to see them getting some rain.
