I rarely take off the Sigma 105mm F2.8 DG Macro as I find it a very versatile lens. In other words, I would highly recommend it and BTW I have two of them.

I love the softness with this shot. Sharp is not always the way. Stunning red. Our roses are nearly finished, till the next round of buds.

Love the full color saturation. A hard color for digital capture.

I think it is harder to get a photo like this than a photo that is tack sharp. I'm with Trev here, stunning is the word.

I agree but I also find bright whites hard not to blow out as well.
