Great photo Cee Cee! The is unusual and completely new for me.....don't believe I've seen a bush with blooms like those! Well done! What's the fruit with the hole in it? Looks like a pre pitted oive? Interesting!

I've got a sour gum in the yard but it doesn't do anything like yours!

The second one is very nice, the blue sets it off, yet the first one shows the vibrant colours. And yes Will I'm sure the birds will be around a lot they are here when the trees flower.

thanks Will, this is actually the first time I've seen "Orange" flowering gums, white, cream and red are more common, the woody fruit are called Gumnuts and when they open they release seeds

thank you EM, these are not in my yard, they're street trees (shrubs) that I drove past and were such a striking colour I had to return with my camera

Wow! Beautiful! I'll have to see if the botanic garden has any of these...probably they do, their collection is vast! Will look for them flowering next summer. TFS, these are great!
